Here it is! The ACTUAL FINAL BLOG POST! I'm happy yet sad. I have enjoyed having this class, crazy to think. I've learned so much, some that has changed the way I looked at the world, and some things that have made me more knowledgable. I've learned how to exceed at photoshop, as I hated it in DP1. But I've also done so much more. Mr OD has given us so many opportunities to use and so many tips. I couldn't imagine what this class would be like without him.
As for me, I do hope to do casual photography, but I don't think I will carry it on in my day to day life in the future. But all of these tips and pointers I've gotten will be carried on in the other medians I use. I'm very sad this is the last chapter of this class. But I'm happy I've been given all of these wonderful experiences to learn and develop. Thank you!

Besides our Final Blog Post, this was our very last photoshop assignment! I am so excited. We were instructed to choose our favorite photoshop assignment from this tri. I chose HDR, as I like the outcome and the setup. Heres what I got.
Last photo assignment! Black and white was so much fun to do! I waited specifically for it to rain so I could get nice contrast between the leaves and the rain drops. I really like how they all turned out. F-Stops: 5.3 Shutter Speed: 1/100 ISO: 400 This is our last photo assignment. Finally! I have been waiting for this day for a while. I really liked this assignment. It was easy and pain free. I went out after the rain and caught some water droplets and went around to the natural wildflowers in my yard. I'm happy about everything with this assignment.
One of our last photoshop assignments, we had to get creative and figure out how to recreate the ads we see everyday. The first duplicate I did turned out really nice. I pulled Cinderella's castle from a trip I have taken recently and tediously tried text after text until I was happy. The second one I did, well... I did it. I really did not like how it turned out. I took an image of the Lysol container in our room and one of OD's mugs. The shadows is what really does it. I will not be trying to do this again in the future.
For one of our last weekly photo assignment, I chose to do Open, which can include anything and everything. I have actually had these photos stored away for a bit and I'm so happy I could revisit them. Yes, I am aware that these are all flowers, but if I was going to have allergies you bet I was going to get at least something out of it. The lilacs were blooming in my backyard and my friends flowering crabapple was in full glory. I couldn't help it. It was all just so pretty. Some of the pink flowers got washed out as it was all mostly the same color, so that was a bit hard to manage, and the lilac flowers were very close together, making it complicated to focus on just one blooming bud. But I do enjoy the outcome of this week.
I hated his project. Like with a heated passion hated this. It was aweful. I hate my photo being taken. I look like a potato. It's just all bad. And the environmental photos didn't turn out how I wanted either. I just don't like this topic and don't feel like exploring it in the future.
This assignment wasn't all that bad. I actually liked it a lot, except when I wasn't behind the camera, but ya know. I think these photos turned out really nice and I can definitely see myself taking more portraits later on.
Our latest photo shop was open tutorials. We had to go surf the web to find cool and complicated tutorials to do. This is how it went. To be all honest, I hated this photoshop assignment. I wish there was more structure in what we had to do. I basically just winged half of these. But they turned out ok... ish. I do want to do more with photoshop later, for a specific topic.
This week I finally stopped procrastinating and did light painting! It wasn't the easiest thing but I really like the results F-Stop: 5.0 Shutter Speed: 10.0 ISO: 1600 This assignment was more fun then I expected. The general getting photos was actually quite fun playing around with the different lights and colors. I would maybe consider doing this again. Maybe...Typolgy was quite easy in the long run, but the genaral getting the photos was kinda complicated. You have to make sure that your focus never changes, along with the lighting. But once in photoshop, it was an easy task of essembly. I really liked this assignment and hope to use it in later projects.
